Though his professional career took him to Dallas, TX for 32 years, Tim Gassaway is an Amarillo native, property owner and businessman living in Amarillo. He founded the Amarillo Area Black Chamber of Commerce and is also a joint founder and the interim president of The Greater North Heights Neighborhood Association.
A proven problem solver, Gassaway partnered with Services of Hope to offer monthly food giveaways for families struggling with food insecurity. During the pandemic, while many families were faced with food insecurity, he worked with several local partners to hold a city-wide food giveaway to provide meat and produce to families in need.
It is this proven track record of not only innovating but using existing resources to meet the needs of people in Amarillo that Gassaway will bring to Potter County as Precinct 4 Commissioner.
